The Singles Ministry of St John Baptist Church invites you to
a special dedication:
A dedication of your life to God and to His Word.
You do not have to be a member of our ministry for us to minister to
you. Many of you are unclear of the purpose and direction of the Singles' Ministry.
First, we are not a MEN-istry. Though our membership is currently
comprised of all women, we do not seek to find a "good" man in the
church. We seek to find and define our purpose for existing as unwed,
divorced, or widowed individuals as mandated by the Word of God. Our teachings
are based primarily on 1 & 2 Corinthians. We are a ministry. We are
just one small part in the total body of God's temple -- the church. Just
as we are to respect God's temple -- the church, we are to also respect the
temple of the Holy Spirit, which is the body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says:
What? Know Ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in
you, which Ye have of God, and Ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a
price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are
God's.
If you are not married, divorced, or widowed and want to know more about how
to govern your life as a SINGLE person in God's eyes, then read 1
Corinthians. meditate on it day and night. If you wish to join us,
